August 31st... can't belirve how quickly the summer has sped past...I actually needed a sweater last night for a while. Not to worry, it's suppose to be 90 degrees, with high humidity, again tomorrow.
I hope to spend the weekend working on things I have put off. In particular cleaning the garage. If it'a really hot it will just have to wait. can always spend my days making ART.

Steampunk cuff
I am retired and am now doing the "work" I have always dreamed I would, one day, do. Be an artist as I said I would be at age 3.
I have three grown children, Nan, Kathleen and Jeff, grandchildren and great grandchildren. This does not mean I am not young at heart. I've worked hard for every year I have accumulated.
My interests are wide and have eventually settled on mixed media art. That means I can do anything I am interested in at the time. Currently, I am playing with collage, photoshop, quilting and the Steampunk genre.
What is Steampunk you say? Well, here is a cuff I made as gift for a friend. You, my friends out there, will just have to figure out which one of you it is the lucky recipient.
